Orford House Social Club

Social Club​

Owned by us. Run by us. Loved by us. Orford House was donated to Walthamstow in 1921 as a social club and every member owns a part of it.

​

We welcome ALL people to become members. We want to preserve the club as a place where our members and their guests from all backgrounds can come to socialise and feel safe.

​

Becoming a member is all about being part of a fantastic local community and making friends for life. Oh, and we have Walthamstow's best beer garden. Yeah, I said it.

We have draught beer and cider for less than £3.50 a pint, plus some of the best local beers.

Members have exclusive use of our pool and 2 snooker tables.

We host a darts teams and welcome players from other clubs to test their mettle at the oche.

Lawn Bowls

Members can join our lawn bowls club and use the bowling green. It's easy to learn, fun to play, and surprisingly addictive!

Bingo & Quizzes

It's eyes down at 7:45 PM every Sunday.

There's a monthly quiz too.

We have regular events, including comedy, live music and mucky discos!

Join

New Member Application 

A new membership costs £60 from when you join until December 2024. You’ll then pay just £44 to renew your membership each January.

Please note: Your sponsor must have been a member of Orford House for at least two years. If you don't have a sponsor, you can join at our New Members' Night. Just come down and speak to a committee member.
